2010 Sauvignon Balnc - Napa Valley
This Estate Bottled offering shows sweet flowery aromas of honeysuckle, tropical fruit and violets combined with a smooth mouth feel attributable to blending 5% Viognier. Palate includes hints of honey, agave nectar, melon, fresh mowed hay, and refreshing citrus flavors (grapefruit, Lisbon lemon, Colima lime and tangerine). Light transparent straw color. Medium creamy finish. Nice companion to cheese and fresh mixed nuts (especially cashews and macadamias). Pairs beautifully with herb roasted chicken, cheese tortellini or a mix of sautéed vegetables.
